Robert ( Bob) Taddario was born in 1955 in Geneva, NY.

but his family roots are grounded in Abruzzo and Calabria, Italy.

His father, James Taddario, was born in 1908 in Abruzzo, Italy and moved to New York in 1917.

His mother's family came from the Calabria region, but was born in New York.

Today the Taddario family still holds tight to their Italian roots, traditions, and recipes
